Back to College: Where the 2026 Chupacabras Are Playing This Fall
The 2026 McKinney Chupacabras roster featured collegiate talent from programs across the country, spanning NCAA Division I, Division II and Division III.
With the college soccer season getting underway, many of the players who represented McKinney this summer are now returning to their respective schools, while others begin new chapters following transfers or their first steps into the college game.
Here’s where the 2026 Chupacabras are playing this fall.
Colgate
Player: Cole Ramey — Sophomore
Notable Honors/Accolades:
Led the team with three goals as a freshman last season and also recorded one assist.
Named Patriot League Rookie of the Week.
All three of his goals were game-deciding goals for the Raiders.

Player: Ben Baldwin — Junior
Notable Honors/Accolades:
One career assist in 30 matches.

Player: Zayan Ahmed — Junior
About the Program:
Lost 3–2 to NC State in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament last season after winning the BIG EAST Championship.
Finished No. 5 in the 2025 end-of-season Top 25 rankings.

BIG EAST All-Academic as a freshman and sophomore.

Notable Honors/Accolades:
Aiden Ussery has one career collegiate goal, scored last season as a redshirt freshman.
Sam Jones redshirted the 2025 season and won the Chupacabras’ 2026 Goal of the Season award.

Player: Luke Adams — Redshirt Junior, transfer from Tulsa
About the Program:
Saint Louis enters the season after winning the Atlantic 10 and reaching the NCAA College Cup semifinals.
Notable Honors/Accolades:
2025 American Athletic Conference Defender of the Year.
First Team All-Conference as a redshirt sophomore.
Selected No. 52 overall by Charlotte FC in the second round of the 2026 MLS SuperDraft.
Named a 2026 Division I Player to Watch by United Soccer Coaches.

Players: Nathan Kinser, Milton Lopez, Jaylinn Mitchell
About the Program:
Enters the 2026 season ranked No. 15 after finishing last season 12–3–5 and winning its first ACC Tournament title.
Notable Honors/Accolades:
Nathan Kinser did not see action during his freshman season. As a senior at Lovejoy High School, he was named team MVP and District 9-5A Goalkeeper of the Year. He also won the Chupacabras’ 2026 Player of the Season award.
Milton Lopez scored seven goals and added two assists as a junior last season, including a brace in a 2–0 victory over No. 21 Notre Dame on Sept. 27. Lopez has 13 career goals and two career braces. He finished high school with 60 goals and 29 assists.
Jaylinn Mitchell was selected No. 23 overall by Minnesota United FC in the 2026 MLS SuperDraft. He was named an ACC Preseason Player to Watch in 2025 and recorded six assists last season.

Player: Luke Cassar — Incoming Freshman
Notable Honors/Accolades:
Youngest player in Chupacabras history.

UT Dallas
Players: Ryder Claborn, Jordan Jones, Carson Burden
About the Program:
Joined the NCAA Division II level in soccer in July 2025 and became a full Division II member in July 2026.
Notable Honors/Accolades:
Ryder Claborn was named Third Team All-Lone Star Conference in 2025 after starting all 14 matches for the Comets and recording seven clean sheets.
Jordan Jones was named to the LSC All-Freshman Team and Second Team All-Conference in 2025.
Carson Burden earned academic honors during the 2024–25 season while UT Dallas was competing in Division III.
