Rangers pull away in the second half as Chupacabras debut with signs of promise
The Little Rock Rangers handed the McKinney Chupacabras a 6-0 defeat in their first-ever match, with five of the six goals coming in a dominant second-half performance.
While the final scoreline was one-sided, the Chupacabras showed encouraging moments throughout the match. Goalkeeper Soren Russell stood out with several key saves, and the team created a handful of dangerous chances that hinted at the talent on the roster.
Little Rock’s experience and composure showed as they controlled possession and capitalized on opportunities after halftime. With the score at 5-0 in the final minutes, McKinney was forced to play a man down due to an injury after all substitutes had been used.
