Chupacabras fall in another weather-delayed match
After a 90-minute weather delay, the McKinney Chupacabras returned to Ron Poe Stadium to take on the Little Rock Rangers, ultimately falling 3–0 in a tough, rain-soaked contest.
The away side started the better of the two sides, with goalkeeper Jayden Schell making several key saves in the opening minutes to keep the Rangers at bay.
With Head Coach Jose Burciaga Jr. suspended following a red card in the previous match, Coach Jesus Vazquez stepped in to lead the team on the sidelines.
McKinney suffered an early setback in the 9th minute when team captain Omar Holness was forced off due to injury.
The Rangers opened the scoring in the 15th minute and added a second just before half-time. Their third and final goal came in the 65th minute, putting the game out of reach despite a strong effort from the Chupacabras.
Milton Lopez led the attacking efforts for McKinney, generating several chances from free kicks and corners, but the Rangers' defense held firm.
