Red River FC 2-4 McKinney Chupacabras

Chupacabras secure first-ever win.

The long-awaited moment finally arrived for the McKinney Chupacabras, as they earned the first victory in club history with a 4–2 win over Red River FC in Shreveport.

Milton Lopez ignited the match with an explosive start, scoring twice within the opening 10 minutes to give McKinney an early lead that they would maintain throughout the game.

Entering the second half with a 2–1 advantage, the Chupacabras focused on preserving their lead, a challenge they had faced in previous matches. However, goals from Freddy Ayala and Gio Montesdeoca in the second half extended their margin, as McKinney sustained pressure on both ends of the pitch.

Red River FC remained competitive, generating key saves and shots on target, and their physical play resulted in several yellow cards. The Chupacabras also accumulated numerous cautions, which at times gave the Raiders opportunities to capitalize.

Although the Shreveport crowd was smaller compared to home games at Ron Poe Stadium, many Chupacabras supporters tuned in via live stream or gathered at private watch parties to celebrate the historic victory.
